NEXT AREA 62 ASSEMBLY: The next Area 62 General Service Assembly will be held on June 1-2, 2024, at The River Center at Saluda Shoals, 5605 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Online Registration will be open soon at https://area62.org/assembly/ you can also make your lunch choice and book hotel accommodations! If you are a district 51 committee chair, the district will pay your gas expenses to and from the assembly. If you are a GSR, your group may pay all or a part of your expenses to attend. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet others from around the state and have some fun while being of service to Alcoholics Anonymous. Even if you don’t have a service position, you are still welcome and encouraged to attend!

SAVE THE DATE: 2024 District 51 Founder's Day Celebration!! Come join us on June 15, 2024, from 11am-3pm at Shelter # 2 at Andrew Jackson State Park, 196 Andrew Jackson Park Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720. We will be celebrating 89 years of Experience, Strength and Hope since the founding of our great fellowship! The Meat will be provided by the District and everyone is asked to please bring a covered dish or dessert to share with your AA family. SC State Parks charges the following admission: $3 adults; $1.50 SC seniors; $1 children age 6-15; age 5 & younger free. You must have a SC fishing license to fish in the lake.

This will be the 2024 Delegate's Report in conjunction with District 50!! This year it will be held in District 50 at The Sumter Group; 1 Warren Street, Sumter, SC 29150. Our Delegate will report back from the General Service Office on everything that was discussed at the 74th General Service Conference in New York!
